once upon a time i stumbled across this
marvelous illustration in a library book: [link]
i've since nicknamed her "the horrible owl lady"
and she's basically my favorite thing ever.

it recently occurred to me that i should draw
some of my own owl-people. & here they are!

I love this piece! You put so much attention to detail into it and it has a very historic feeling to it. Such a classy illustration. I also like the fact that it's not a digital piece. What did you use? Just pencils and/or ink?
