MCAD 125 Posterby ~teaganwhite

Traditional Art / Drawings / Abstract

Myself and four other students & alumni were asked to create posters to celebrate MCAD's 125th anniversary. There were no parameters given at all -- I chose to do an interpretation of the new logo (they just finished totally rebranding the school).

The limited edition of 15 prints will be auctioned off to raise scholarship funds.

The colour accent really makes this work complete.
I like how there is this clash between the solid X and the fluid elements around it.

It's beautiful! Agree with the others about the pop of color being a lovely touch. I really like the subtlety you used to distinguish the right two "legs" of the logo from the other two.
